Alex is a passionate, values driven leader with an extensive background in social policy, both within Government and consulting. She has worked as an advisor to senior Ministers within the UK Government, including Prime Ministers Tony Blair and David Cameron, where she covered home affairs and social innovation respectively. In her Government roles and as a Partner at EY Australia, Alex led the development and implementation of major reforms to public services - including justice and policing, families and young people, child protection, education, disability, health and immigration. Alex has significant experience developing collaborations between Government, for-purpose and private sector organisations to drive transformative, systemic change.
Alex holds a Bachelors degree from Oxford University and is a graduate of Harvard’s Leadership Development Program. She has a young daughter and loves watersports, where she can occasionally be found surfing (very badly).
