What are we doing?

Burron Guli "Boy to Man"

Burron Guli is a school visiting, primary prevention DFV program which engages primary school aged Aboriginal boys with Aboriginal culture, and supports them to explore ideas about respectful relationships, gender stereotypes, attitudes and behaviours to girls and women, peer pressure and other factors which can lead to DFV. Each Burron Guli program runs over a term and the worker runs 4 programs per year. Guest speakers are part of the program, with our Aboriginal male nurse and an Aboriginal female police officer presenting, plus Elders sharing culture and yarning.
