Hosted by the Mt Druitt community on Darug land, ChangeFest brings together community members, funders, government, business and backbone leaders from over 40 place-based change initiatives from all over Australia. The agenda invites participants to consider how best to emphasise the voice of community and accelerate change.
Participants listened to a challenging and powerful call to action about being better listeners, building more trusting relationships and recognising and taking responsibility for a role in changing systems.
The Paul Ramsay Foundation’s Chief Capabilities Officer participated in a panel discussion on ‘Lost Conversations’, which asked Aboriginal people and non-Aboriginal people to share their experiences working together. The session emphasized both how collaboration is possible and what to do when challenges arrive.
